Casa Mia began with a little luck and a whole lot of dream. Owners Alexandra and Michelle come from a long line of hard working restaurateurs. The family has been in the restaurant business for over forty years. Daughter Alexandra, planned on having a restaurant of her own one day, and that day came quicker then she ever would have imagined. “The opportunity presented itself early, and I just had to grab it. I got an amazing vibe the moment I walked through our buildings doors and I knew that we could become something spectacular!” She said.
The mother daughter duo prides themselves on exceptional service, phenomenal Mediterranean and Italian dishes being served, and a family atmosphere that people can feel very comfortable in. “We want our guests to feel at home in Casa Mia and we want them to become a part of our new little family consisting of our warm staff and wonderful patrons” – Michelle.
The food, created and prepared by chef, Michael Heinlein, emphasizes creativity, authenticity, and the freshest ingredients. They concentrate on embodying the Mediterranean diet consisting of the freshest fish for the whole fish dishes and many vegetables. The food is light, delicious, and nutritious. The menu also offers many gluten free items. The food has a modern flair, while still staying true to its origins. Similar to the owners, who are Greek and Italian. They bring some of their families recipes from both Sparta and Naples into the restaurant, keeping true to their heritage.
