The Polar Boys are a youthful, high-energy group of life-long friends from Miami, Florida: Andy Zambrana, Alex Ramon, and Andres Baquerizo. Their sound reflects a strong influence from indie rock to hip hop and jazz, creating a genre-bending sound that mirrors the band’s unique live show.

Meet 22 y/oRichard Orofino, a Brooklyn-basedsinger songwriter/producer, in possession of a broadpalette of musical skills and boundless inspiration. Hebegan writing and producing music in 2013, startingon piano, moving to drums and later guitar, all whilehoning his production skills crafting hundredsofbedroom pop gems from the attic of his parent’shouse in Northport, NY. The evolution of hissongwriting and vocal style resulted in last year’s“Bella Notte,”produced withFrancois Tetaz(Goyte, The Nightgame). His debut set forth anartistic visionand sound template that, while uniquein the pop landscape, incorporates diverse influencesincluding Sade, Elliott Smith, New Order &CocteauTwins. The evolution continuedwith thelast year’sself-produced EP“SPELL”which combines all theseelements into a beautiful blend that will be familiar toall his fans-past, present and future.
