Zildjian Will Commemorate Four Centuries of Musical Influence with a Once-In-A-Lifetime Concert Hosted by Fred Armisen
The world’s oldest maker of cymbals will honor its 400th anniversary with an all-star celebratory concert on September 20th, 2023. The company, which first began making cymbals in 1623, will host the unforgettable experience at Roadrunner and feature artists that have played with the biggest names in music.
The Zildjian 400th Anniversary Concert will include the following elements:
- An evening of music and entertainment emceed by comedian, actor, producer, and drummer Fred Armisen
- Induction of eight drumming legends into the Zildjian Hall of Fame: Eddie Bayers, Terri Lyne Carrington, Dennis Chambers, Sheila E., Peter Erskine, Omar Hakim, Steve Smith, and Ringo Starr
- Tribute performances from the world’s greatest drummers including Gorden Campbell, Adam Deitch, Josh Dun, Justin Faulkner, Chris Fryar, Marcus Gilmore, Evan Hutchings, Roni Kaspi, Russ Miller, Adam Nussbaum, Gary Novak, Marc Quioñones, Antonio Sanchez, Jamie-Leigh Schultz, Nate Smith, Ash Soan, Aaron Spears, and Devon Taylor
- A charity auction filled with incredible music memorabilia to help raise money for MusiCares
