West East Bistro brings together cuisines from around the world into one sophisticated and comfortable setting. Offering freshly made dishes featuring ingredients and cooking techniques you love, but in new and delicious combination's.
Some dishes are decidedly Eastern or Asian in origin but enhanced with Western influences. For instance, the crispy outside of the traditional Chinese spring roll is offered in combination with a new flavorful inside by wrapping the shrimp, stripe of salmon, tilapia, cucumber, scallion and cilantro.
Similarly, some dishes are western favorites with an Asian twist. Have you ever had a grilled rib-eye at an Asian restaurant? East-West Bistro offers a grilled Angus Rib-Eye prepared with a dry-rub of pungent Chinese Five Spice and finished with a red-wine reduction sauce - fusion at its best. Meat lovers will also be interested in the braised beef short-ribs with spicy Korean barbeque sauce, or the smoky, fork-tender pork spare-ribs.
West East Bistro provides a carefully selected wine list which includes not only the popular Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon but also Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Red Zinfandel to pair with the Asian dishes. You may also bring your own wine ($10/bottle corkage charge applies). Six cold sakes are also available as is a selection of Asian, European and American beers and top-shelf liquors.
West East Bistro is majority owned and operated by Danny Wu, General Manager, with participation from four partners: Linna Wu, Aila and David Chan, food aficionados and skilled restaurateurs, and James Ting, fine-art Photographer, whose selected works are displayed in the dining room.
