Broadway on Main Street
BROADWAY ON MAIN STREET returns with an all-new concert event created exclusively for the Landmark on Main Street on Saturday, May 4th at 8 PM. Produced and hosted by Port Washington’s own Stephen DeAngelis, five of Broadway’s finest performers will recreate their most memorable musical moments, display their versatility, share backstage behind-the-scenes anecdotes and participate in an enlightening and entertaining question and answer session with our audience.
Scheduled performers are Sam Primack (final Evan Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen); Julie Reiber (Come From Away; Newsies the Musical; On a Clear Day You Can See Forever; Priscilla Queen of the Desert; All Shook Up; Brooklyn; Wicked) Julius Thomas III (Hamilton; Motown The Musical; The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess; The Scottsboro Boys) and Nyla Watson (Waitress and Eric Jordan Young (Chicago; Ragtime: Seussical; The Look of Love). Musical Director/Accompanist will be Asher Denburg. The evening will include musical selections from Hamilton; Dear Evan Hansen; Waitress; Come From Away; Motown The Musical; Little Shop of Horrors; Les Miserables; The Little Mermaid: Sweeney Todd; All Shook Up; Smokey Joe’s Café; Kinky Boots; Into the Woods; Beautiful: The Carole King Musical; Five Guys Named Moe; Songs For a New World and more!!! Join us for what has proven to be a “can’t miss” event for theatre lovers of all ages.
