Its time to follow your dreams! Stop making excuses and come on down! You just might have the time of your life as you learn and perform stand-up comedy live on our Legendary stages!!!
The Class will run for 8 weeks from 6:00 - 8:00 each week There will be TWO class shows ... Your graduation show and a special encore performance! This will offer you more stage time PLUS it will offer greater opportunity for your friends and family to see you perform! Plus we will transition you into our club new talent family to maximize the fun and opportunity! A video of your graduation show performance is given to you at the conclusion of the session and the cost of the recording is included in the cost of the class. Comedy College is taught its founder and original instructor, John Trueson. John has been a professional comedian for over 30 years. Aside from teaching Comedy College, he has also booked several major rooms, managed Gotham Comedy Club in Manhattan, served as a talent consultant for the Westbury/North Fork Music Fair and was a talent evaluator for NBC's "Last Comic Standing" at their NYC auditions and he was even fortunate enough to appear as a co-star on the hit CBS sitcom "Kevin Can Wait" so John knows all sides of the comedy business and can give a unique and detailed view on how things work in the comedy world. In the past, the class has included people from all walks of life, young and old ... some serious about a comedy career, others who just wanted to hone their public speaking skills or just have fun.
