In 2005, musical director of Theatre Three in Port Jefferson, the late Ellen Michelmore, saw something special in Amber. Ellen, who was a dear friend and vocal coach to Amber, had asked her to cover Janis Joplin in her production "Woodstockmania." Amber's performance was so well received that shortly after, "Joplin's Pearl" was born celebrating the music of Janis Joplin and a few songs of the Woodstock Era with authentic attire and a 9-piece band with a 4-piece horn section.
After playing distinctive venues, their audiences began requesting more songs from the Woodstock Era. Amber decided to grant the overwhelming request with a rebirth of their show in 2025 now entitled "WOODSTOCK FEVER" celebrating the music of Janis Joplin, Cream, Jefferson Airplane, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Mama's & The Papa's, The Doors, Smith, The Who, Joni Michell, Led Zeppelin, Shocking Blue, Santana, Melanie, Canned Heat, The Beatles & More!
