La Reina Del Mariachi ® Katherine Glen.
She is a singer, songwriter, actress, poet, TV presenter and finalist of beauty pageants such as Miss Colombia USA, and nominated for a Latin Grammy.
In her role as a journalist, she has interviewed great singers such as Ricky Martin, Alejandro Saenz, Juanes, among others .
She won first place in the contest "Hits of the moment " on Sabado Gigante, broadcast by Univision, she was top finalist in the First Mariachi Festival in Walt Disney, also in prestigious awards such as Premios Lo Nuestro, she was the special guest artist in the Voice Kids of Telemundo, American Idol, In her role as a journalist, she has interviewed great singers such as Ricky Martin, Alejandro Saenz, Juanes, among others
Katherine has won multiple awards for Best Mariachi Singer in New York City for several years in a row, and has received special recognition for outstanding achievement from the United States Congress, the Senate, and for both New York and New Jersey State Legislatures.
She has performed in famous places such as Madison Square Garden with more than 20,000 attendees at the Peace for Colombia concert and has shared the stage with great artists such as Juanes, Anthony Rios at the United Palace, with Fernando Villalona,the Rosario Brothers, Paquita la del Barrio, Pablo Montero and many more... she has also sung with the famous Mariachi Vargas Group.
The also poet, has more than 5 books of poetry published internationally and has almost a million visits to the song "How much do I miss you" that she wrote for her father on where it has received good acceptance by the public.
La Reina Del Mariachi, most recent Show was at the Westbury Music Theater in Long Island, New York, where she shared the stage with the acclaimed "Iron Lady" singer Marisela, in a SOLD OUT Concert.
Katherine is currently preparing for her appearance as a guest artist at the Myriam Hernández Concert at the Westbury Music Theater on Sunday, October 10, and is working on her next album that will soon be released on all digital platforms.
For 2022, together with her Production Team and the Media that follow her, she plans her own Concerts throughout the United States as LA REINA DEL MARIACHI TOUR... "CONQUERING HEARTS", which will bring Mexican Music, her Roots and her Folklore at its highest level singing her best SUCCESSES LIVE with her MARIACHIS and her Spectacular FOLKLORIC DANCE GROUP that have led her to conquer thousands of hearts and her faithful followers.
