After careful research of the history of Peter’s Clam Bar, Peter had the idea to open a Clam Bar in Island Park and began building and creating his dream late in the fall of 1939. Peter’s Clam Bar opened for its first summer in 1940.

Peter’s Clam Bar & Seafood Restaurant is Long Island’s oldest Clam Bar. Everything is made from scratch and uses only the finest ingredients and freshest seafood available. We invite you to join us for another great summer!
